The idea that women should be able to go it alone and out-compete men is fundamentally a lesbian philosophy. Because lesbians can't countenance forming an economic partnership with men, they are driven into seeing themselves as oppressed. Same is true of heterosexual women who can't attract a man: they are doomed to bitter loneliness, the kind of soil in which Marxist philosophy germinates and thrives.
